Hey!!! I'm SARA GLEZ!! :D

Hey guys! How are you all doing? I'm Sara Glez, a 25 year old girl who always loved to draw: it's been my passion since I was a little girl. I've always liked writing fantasy tales, and my dream was to become a professional artist, so I could make my own stories and show them to the world.
.

When I was in highschool, at the age of 15 more or less, I stopped drawing because I decided to study science back then. I had lost the habit of drawing (a decision that I'll regret forever, because practice means everything if you wanna become a good artist).

When I finished Secondary School, I didn't want to study science anymore, and I started to study Philosophy at University of Oviedo. But when I was in the 3th level in the career, aged 22 years old, I began to draw again. People saw my drawings back then and liked them, even some of my professors told me that I was kind of talented. That's when I realized that drawing was the path that I should have never left. It was the only thing that I really liked, where I used to feel confortable.

The way I used to focus my life and my future has changed since that moment: I really wanted to be a professional illustrator. My drawings were bad at that time, because I had spent too many years without practicing (that's why I tell you now mates: if you REALLY want to be an artist, don't loose any single day). Last year I got prepared for the admision test of the Oviedo Art School, and passed it. That moment I knew I was doing the right thing: that was my world and I would never leave it again.

About my illustrations, I love drawing characters and animals, specially in comic and half-realistic styles. I would love to work in the videogame and animation industry, that's why I focus my art in this kind of things. People who I admire and inspires me are Artgerm, Adam Huges, Sakimi Chan, Jim Lee,... I'll keep fighting to become one of the best illustrators in the world! Like Yoda said: "Do or do not, there is no try" ;)

Thanks for taking a time to read this. If you kind of like my drawings, you can see more pictures in my instagram:

LAURA GARCÍA

Hi, I´m Laura García Ferrero and I´m studying Illustration here, in Oviedo Art School.

I decided to study this, because I have always loved drawing since I was a child and is also what I pretend to develop in the future.
I made the High School with specialty in Arts a few years ago, and I stopped drawing for 7 years for work, but fortunately, I have return to do what I love.
Now I usually draw all days again.

My influences,
in themathic, go from the humorous styles, to social criticism, and very personal content, small comics, etc. My references and favourite illustrators are numerous, so my work is always with a critical and amusing point of view.

My style
has very sharp contours and is characterized by flat tones and low volume, so I usually use markers, color pencils and digital painting to solve my artwork.

I would love to live working as an illustrator, so every day I spend my time to improve, discover new things and fight for it.

I hope you enjoy my illustrations.

I leave the link to my Facebook page, if
you would like to visit me:

My illustrations have a naif style and are very expressive. Art is a way to show the sensitivity of self. The issues I usually treat in my illustrations are about an imaginary world that I've created. I love to create monsters and characters who get out from fairy tales.

A student's stuff

Hey there, my name's Irene Félix and I've been drawing this stuff for years. What can I say if I like more drawing than writing? So, let's go straight to my works!
This is a colleccion saved from my Deviantart account.

First; I LOVE dragons, I love what they mean and I love their wings and scales. This is a pastel I made for my neighbour, a writer that loves them even more.

I have a list of Oc's I use for everything. Here you have four of my favourites. They have their own stories (Most of them, great dramas. I don't regret anything.) but they're too long to write them here.

This man in blue is my favorite among favorites.
Aaaand I also make fanarts. Well, only when my friends want, but I try.
And that's all, my friend. Want more? Look for Kiradraws in our dear Google!

Stanley Lau "Artgerm"

Stanley Lau, better known by his alias "Artgerm", is a chinese professional digital artist who was born and bred in Hong Kong, and whose specialty is to make half-realistic drawings. He's located now in Singapore.

Artgerm considers himself not only and illustrator, but also a designer and concept artist, and he's the creative director and co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios, which is a world acclaimed digital art studio that produces high quality artworks for the likes of Capcom, DC Comics, Square Enix and other giants in the entertainment and gaming industry.

His art is imbued with a strong sense of aesthetics and visual fluidity, and his style perfectly blends eastern and western art styles (in fact he has an American style mixed with some reminiscences of Manga). He mostly uses digital resources, like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and some other design software for his creations. His creation process is based on basic drawing contour lines, and then he paints over them and homogenize the final set, so he can get impressive results.

Artgerm's art continues to inspire new generations of artists and his fan base around the world. Recently, he was contracted by Capcom to provide new character artwork for the upcoming releases of Street Fighter (Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition).
