Naoki Urasawa

Naoki Urasawa is one of my favourite comic artist. He was born in Tokyo 53 years ago and at first he studied Economics. While he was drawing 20th Century Boys Urasawa published Pluto, an adaptation of Tezuka's Astroboy: the grestest robot on earth supervised by Tezuka's son, Makoto Tezuka. Dan's first drawings

Hi, my name is Daniel López. This entry is about my drawings in Illustration studies.

This is one of the first works we had to do for one of the subject: Illustration techniques.
In this few trials, we had to use different hards of pencils. It can possibly seem that pencil technique is very easy and common to use and it would not be necessary to include it in this subject, but it's really a good technique to start because of that. Besides, my partners and I learnt some useful things about it.

This picture is my first experience with acrylic paint. In my opinion, it is an artistic technique very interesting. We had to do an image to represent the future in the way we wanted to see it. I thought in a future where the roads would be not useful anymore because we would travel only by flying vehicles and the citys would grow in height but not in width.
The final result didn't seem to be that. But I learnt a lot of things in the process and I like the acrylic paint technique very much since that time.

FIRE AND PRODS!!!

Hi!

I´m Sergio, a illustration student. Basically, my inspiration comes from fantastic literature, videogames, like World of Warcraft or The Elder Scrolls, some role-playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering or the games of the White Wolf company (Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension...).
I like to draw the sketch with pencil or ink and add colour digitally.

I´m going to show you some of my works.

This is a illustration of my World of Warcraft character, a paladin called Silversennin. It´s done with pencil and ink.

And this version, coloured with Adobe Photoshop.
This is from a project based in the Digimon animated series. This is Fengarimon, a Digimon level mega.

 And his pre-evolution, Metalsitharimon.
Both drawn with pencil and coulored digitally.

Here, two illustrations for a Werewolf: The Apocalypse game. I like to draw the characters and NPC's that appear in the game when I'm the "Game Master".
They are drawn with pencil, inked (only the second one) and coulored in Photoshop. In the first one i added an old paper surface and a celtic design as frame.

May The Force be with you...
