"Imperfect lessons"

Hi, what’s up, happy New Year, We are back again to talk about an exposition that we made before Christmas holidays.

The drawings shown were a compilation of the best class work made by the students of illustration during the season 2009/2010.

There were a great variety of themes as human drawing, perspective, still life, animals, etc. and techniques as Chinese ink, watercolour, charcoal, chalk.

The exposition was set in the main hall of the Oviedo art school since 23 of November to 23 of December.

The exposition was a total succeed, a memorable exposition.

The last week of the exposition there was a market with some of the works exposed for sale.

There were also for sale works from the student of 1^st of illustration and engraving.

Leonardo Manco

Leonardo Manco was born on December 16th, 1971, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he resides.

He started his career in the world of comics in 1989, working for Argentinean publishers, and some of his works where also published in Italy.

In 1991, he leaps fordward and starts working for Marvel Comics, for wich he made several books, such as Hellstorm( Prince of Lies), Druid, Captain America, Wolverine, werewolf by night, among others.

In 2001 he was assigned a single issue of Batman( Gothem Knights) making his first contribution for DC Comics.

In 2003 he is able get the DC Comics Hellblazer series, in wich he still working in and others current proyects to DC Comics.
